Freeport got weather warning after tornadoes hit

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama - Residents got no warning that severe weather was expected until about 20 minutes after two tornados had struck the northern part of the island Monday.

Deputy Director of the Department of Meteorology, Basil Dean, said he has asked Director Arthur Rolle to investigate why no formal warning was issued early Monday morning.
